Our Mission
Our Church Is More Than A Building. It’s People.
Our Mission: Guiding You to a Life of Purpose and Joy
At First Congregational Church of Buena Park, our mission is to empower you to live a life rich with purpose, contentment, and unwavering faith. We are here to help and bless you as we:
- Proclaim Hope: Lovingly share the gospel of Jesus’ death and resurrection, offering the profound hope and assurance of forgiveness for today and for eternity.
- Journey Together: Comfort and encourage one another on life’s path, navigating challenges (“thorns”) together within our supportive Christian community.
- Fulfill Your Calling: Purposefully help you discover and achieve your unique calling with the Lord’s guidance, using your gifts to bless one another, our community, and the world, growing in Christian contentment.
Part of the Community: Your Family Awaits
Step into a warm and vibrant community deeply rooted in Orange County history. First Congregational Church of Buena Park is a proud member of the Evangelical Association of Reformed and Congregational Christian Churches, offering a diverse array of services and facilities designed for everyone – youth, families, singles, and seniors. A heartfelt welcome is waiting for you.
We are truly grateful for your interest in our church family at FCCBP! For over 137 years, since 1888, we have been a cornerstone of this community, consistently here to help and bless wonderful people just like you.
We find our greatest strength and deepest gratitude in the nail-pierced hands of our ever-loving Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe every believer is already part of our spiritual family because Jesus, who paid for our sins on the cross and rose again, gives us this incredible promise: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16, NASB). Now, we invite you to explore more about our church, so you can discover how worshipping with us or becoming a member can truly help transform your life.
